Morocco on Film | Dallas Texas Photographer

Earlier this year my friend Tiffany and I met for our usual Indian buffet lunch and talked about taking a girls trip together later this year. Two photographers traveling to some unknown country, photographing the same thing but with two completely different sets of eyes. Sounds fun right? It was a dream! We had our sights set on Morocco; a beautiful country filled with handmade goods, delicious eats, beautiful colors, and friendly people. I invited my friend Stephanie along for the ride, and we did a Riad share with a few other girls also from Germany. We spent most of our time in the bustling city of Marrakesh, where we got lost in the souks (huge outdoor shopping markets), took a Moroccan cooking class, listened to live Moroccan Berber music, took a day trip to Essaouira, saw goats in trees, and so much more. I wish I had more pictures of the local people but many Moroccans do not like their picture taken and will demand money if you do. It sure is hard to be a street photographer there! Overall we had an amazing trip and I cannot wait to go back to Morocco!
